On certain ATVs, the front lower ball joint may not have been installed correctly in the steering knuckle. As a result, the front lower ball joint could separate from the steering knuckle and cause a loss of vehicle control.
A loss of vehicle control could increase the risk of a crash.
Can-Am will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your ATV to a dealer to inspect and reassemble the front lower ball joint to steering knuckle connections. Note: Can-Am recommends that you should stop using your ATV until this repair has been completed. If your ATV needs to be moved, do not exceed 15 km/h and only operate it on smooth surfaces.
On certain vehicles, the rear wheel axle nut and cotter pin may not have been correctly installed. As a result, the rear wheel axle nut could loosen and cause the wheel to separate from the vehicle.
A wheel separation could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to tighten the rear wheel axle nut and replace the cotter pin.
