This recall affects the following fuel pump part numbers: 709 000 810 548 874 036 709 001 261 219 800 529 On certain vehicles, the fuel pump could fail. If this happens, the engine could stall while driving and you may not be able to restart it.
A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.
BRP will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the fuel pump.
On certain vehicles, the wire harnesses for the lights may be loose in the front fenders. As a result, a wire harness could rub on a tire and cause a short circuit. If this happens, the engine could stall while driving.
