On certain Blazer, Jimmy and C10 vehicles, the rear brake drums may exhibit an interference condition between the rear brake drum balance weights and aluminum wheels. This condition could cause loss of wheel lug nut torque and wheel stud failure could occur which would allow the tire and wheel assembly to separate from the vehicle when the vehicle is in motion. This could result in loss of control and possible vehicle crash.
