On certain RV trailers, the insulation on the wires for the shore power inlet may not have been removed properly. As a result, the wires could be exposed and cause electrical arcing (sparks).
Electrical arcing can create the risk of a fire.
To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises you not to use the shore power inlet until the recall repairs are completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, repair the wiring for the shore power inlet.
On certain RV trailers, the aluminum center tube that connects the gas valve to the cooktop burners could crack. If this happens, the tube could leak propane. Note: This recall only affects certain InVision three burner cooktops.
A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion.
To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises not to use the cooktop until the recall repairs are completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, repair the cooktop.
