A chafed cable may affect the throttle operation and could cause it to become inoperative or seize open. Should this occur while the motorcycle is in motion, it could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will secure the throttle cable to the frame.

If the screw backs out, the center stand may detach, presenting a ground clearance hazard, or coming into contact with the rear wheel and final drive assemblies. This could cause property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will apply thread locking coumpound to the center stand pivot screw.
