Under certain loading and road conditions, the tires may come in contact with the rear floor while driving. Over time, this problem could cause tire damage and poor vehicle handling.
A sudden change in vehicle handling or a tire failure could increase the risk of a loss of control, and may result in a crash.
The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to install a suspension lift kit. This will allow for additional tire clearance. The tires should also be inspected for any damage and replaced as required.
On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. Certain travel trailers may have been manufactured with 2 separate LED rope lights as back lighting for the countertop that could touch at the unprotected ends. This could cause a short circuit which would increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a heat shrink tube over the unprotected end of the LED rope lights.
