On certain travel trailers, the tires may come in contact with the rear floor support. If this were to happen during travel, it could damage the tires and cause poor vehicle handling.
A sudden change in vehicle handling or a tire failure could increase the risk of a loss of control that may result in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to have the affected floor support modified to allow for additional clearance for the tire. The tires should also be inspected for any damage.
On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain travel trailers equipped with the Onan 5.5kW generator option, the fuel line that is connected to the generator may not have been clamped properly. If the fuel line were to disconnect, it could lead to a fuel leak, which in the presence of an ignition source could cause a fire, and increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will ensure the fuel line is properly clamped to the generator.

On certain travel trailers, the hinge assemblies of the rear cargo door may have been manufactured incorrectly. The weld on the hinge assembly had been ground down during manufacturing to ensure clearance when installed on a door. The grinding of the weld weakened the joint, and as a result, if the door were to be opened and the hinge assembly were to fail, the door could come down with more force than normal, increasing the risk of injury to a person standing nearby. Correction: Dealers will inspect the hinge assembly and replace as necessary.
