2020 Fleetwood Rv Discovery Lxe Recall

Certain motorhomes built on a Freightliner chassis could have a problem with the rear-mounted Power Distribution Module (PDM). This could cause the tail lights not to work properly. Note: This recall replaces FL-856 (Transport Canada recall 2020-337). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.

Brake lights or turn signals that do not work could cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash.

REV Group will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

On certain motorhomes, the tire valve stem extensions for the inner wheels may get damaged by contact with the outer wheels. If this happens, the inner tire could lose air pressure. This could overload the outer tire and cause it to fail. Note: This recall replaces FL-861 (Transport Canada recall 2020-493). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.

A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.

REV Group will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) authorized service facility to remove the inner valve stem extensions.

On certain motorhomes, the fuel rail assembly could develop a leak. Note: This recall only affects motorhomes equipped with a Cummins L9 diesel engine.

A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.

Cummins will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Cummins authorized service center to inspect the fuel rail. If damage is found, the fuel rail and fuel lines will be replaced. If no damage is found, the fuel rail will be reassembled with new crush washers using a special tool.

Authorized dealerships will inspect the vehicle and complete all necessary repairs free of charge (parts and labor).

REV Recreation Group will notify owners by mail and provide a letter from Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA). This letter will instruct owners to take their motorhome to a DTNA authorized service facility to replace the PDM.

On certain motorhomes, the wiring for the slide-out room may not be wrapped or secured correctly. As a result, when the slide-out extends and retracts, the wiring may get tangled or damaged. This could result in a short circuit.

A short circuit could create a fire risk.

The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect the wire harness and plumbing bundle. The bundle will be secured and rerouted as necessary.
