On certain travel trailers, the refrigerator wiring may not be properly connected to a circuit breaker. As a result, there may be no protection against an electrical overload or short circuit.
An electrical overload or short circuit on an unprotected circuit could create a risk of fire.
Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the refrigerator wiring. If the wires are not properly connected, they will be relocated to the correct terminals.
On certain fifth-wheel trailers equipped with a MORryde rotating pin box, the bolts for the wedge may be too short. This could cause the wedge to disconnect from the pin box. If this happens, the trailer could swing and come into contact with the tow vehicle.
