On certain motorhomes, the bracket that secures the hydraulic pump for the leveling system could fail. If this happens, the pump could separate from the vehicle while driving.
A pump that detaches from the vehicle could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to reinforce the bracket for the hydraulic pump.
On certain motorhomes equipped with front swivel-seats, the wiring harness under the seat may not be properly secured. As a result, the wiring harness could be damaged when the seat is moved. If this happens, the side airbag may not work properly in a crash. It could also cause the side airbag to deploy suddenly without a crash. Note: If the wiring to the side airbag is damaged, the SRS light will stay on in the instrument cluster.
An airbag that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer to inspect the routing of the seat wiring harness. The dealer will add clips or cable ties to properly secure the wiring harness to the seat, if necessary.
