These out of specification welds may fracture during sender unit installation resulting in fuel leakage and a possible vehicle fire. On certain propane fueled trucks, a crimp on the housing of the 80 percent shut-off valve at the tank, designed to prevent the valve stem from coming out of the housing may be missing. This allows the valve stem to be turned out beyond the intended limit. Should this occur, the possibility of propane leakage exists. Correction: By means of a specially designed tool, dealers will crimp any valves that may have this condition.

On certain C30 vehicles, the Firestone 16x6 disc wheels may crack in the drop centre portion of the rim. If a crack were to occur on a wheel with a tube type tire mounted to it and remain undetected, the crack could spread and eventually split the wheel resulting in rapid air pressure loss from the tire. This could cause loss of vehicle control and crash without prior warning.

On certain C20 propane fueled trucks, the swivel nut on the lower fitting of the 80 percent fuel fill line may have developed a crack during assembly. When the 80 percent shut-off valve is opened during fuel fill, the possibility of propane leakage exists creating a fire hazard.
