On certain RV trailers, the propane (LP) regulator could fail. If this happens, high-pressure propane could reach the appliances. Note: This recall only affects trailers equipped with a Winntec model 6020 propane regulator.
Unregulated propane pressure can create the risk of an appliance fire.
Heartland RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to replace the propane (LP) regulator.
On certain travel trailers, the electrical connection for the air conditioning unit(s) may not have been assembled correctly. This could cause the connection to overheat, which could increase the risk of a fire.
A fire could create a risk of injury.
Heartland RV will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their trailer to a dealer to replace the connector for the air conditioning units.
On certain travel trailers, the outside cooktop was installed with a flexible rubber Liquid Propane (LP) hose where a rigid metal line should have been used. This is against the manufacturer’s recommendations and could result in damage to the flexible hose, which could increase the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the flexible LP hose on the outside cooktop with a rigid metal line.

On certain travel trailers, the liquid propane (LP) manifold block may have been mounted too close to the center axle shackle. This could allow the shackle to make contact and potentially damage the LP block or LP hose fitting, which could increase the risk of a propane leak and could, in the presence of an ignition source, result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will relocate the LP manifold block away from the shackle area.

On certain travel trailers, the liquid propane (LP) hoses may not be properly secured to the frame. If the hoses are not secured they could come in contact with the trailer’s tires, potentially damaging the hoses and resulting in an propane leak, which in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will secure the LP hoses against the frame.
