On certain RV trailers, the circuit board for the LED light rings on the cooktop knobs could fail. As a result, the wiring and/or LED lights could overheat and melt. Note: This recall only affects RV trailers equipped with certain Suburban cooktops.
Wiring and/or lights that overheat and melt can create the risk of a fire.
Heartland will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to disable or remove the LED light rings. To reduce the safety risk, Heartland recommends that you should disconnect the power for your trailer when it's not used.
