On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain motorhomes equipped with Lippert Components Inc. electric entry steps, an internal bolt on the steps that attaches the fan gear assembly to the steps could fracture. This results in the fan gear disengaging from the steps, which could cause the steps to stop in an unexpected position and appear to be loose or unstable. If the steps become unstable, it could cause a person to fall, resulting in injury. Correction: Dealers will install a step retainer bracket to reinforce the operating mechanism, and all bolts of the mechanism will also be replaced.

On certain motorhomes, the cable for the transmission range indicator "PRND321" on the instrument cluster may be damaged by a sharp edge on the shift lever arm. If the indicator cable is cut, the indicator will remain in the "1" position (first gear) regardless of what gear is actually selected. With no gear indication, the operator may inadvertently select an incorrect gear, increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Ford dealers will replace the transmission selector arm and indicator assembly.

On certain vehicles equipped with an optional dual-fill 75 or 100 gallon fuel tank, the fuel cap assembly used to seal the unused side of the dual-fill fuel tank may have been manufactured with a hose material that does not meet design specifications. During normal usage the hose may deteriorate and cause a fuel leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the original fuel fill cap assembly with an updated version.
