On certain trucks, the quick release valves for the parking brake may not work properly. As a result, the transmission may not shift into neutral (N) automatically. If this happens, the truck may move suddenly.
Sudden and unexpected movement of the truck could increase the risk of an injury or a crash.
To reduce the safety risk, International Motors recommends that you confirm the parking brake light is turned on and the transmission is in neutral (N) before exiting the truck until the recall repairs have been completed. International Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the quick release valve(s).
On certain trucks, the right-side (passenger-side) windshield wiper arm could separate from the wiper motor. If this happens, the windshield wiper may not work. Note: For the MV model, this recall affects both MV and eMV models.
