The release of the parking brake may cause a sudden, unexpected shift in vehicle position, resulting in property damage, personal injury or death. If the encapsulation is compromised, water and contaminants may cause an internal electrical short. An electrical short could cause a fire which can result in property damage, personal injury, or death. Correction: Dealers will install a fused electrical cable in the ground circuit of each suspect vehicle that has one or more remote power module(s).
