AXLES MAY HAVE BEEN PRODUCED WITH A SMALLER THAN INTENDED FRICTION WELD CURL RADIUS ON THE INSIDE DIAMETER OF THE SPINDLE DURING THE FRICTION WELD PROCESS. OVER TIME, CRACKS MAY INITIATE IN THIS AREA, PROPAGATE, AND EVENTUALLY RESULT IN SEPARATION OF THE SPINDLE AND DUAL WHEEL ASSEMBLY FROM THE AXLE HOUSING. A DISENGAGED WHEEL ASSEMBLY COULD POSE A ROAD HAZARD AND ALSO AFFECT VEHICLE STABILITY AND CONTROL. CORRECTION: REAR AXLE HOUSING WILL BE REPLACED.
