On certain motorhomes, the dinette area seatbelts may not conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards 210 - Seatbelt Assembly Anchorages. The final design did not include the steel plate as required by the Standard. During a crash, stress can cause the attachment to tear and allow the anchor to separate from the body of the vehicle Failure of the seatbelt anchorage to restrain the occupant as intended would increase the risk of personal injuries during a crash. Correction: Dealers will install additional seatbelt anchorage reinforcement plates.

This can result in abnormal heat generation at the wheel end which, if undetected, could eventually lead to soft brake pedal condition due to brake fluid boil. Extended stopping distances may result in a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will affect repairs.

On certain vehicles, the castle nut that retains the steering drag link to the pitman arm may have been improperly torqued during assembly. The improper torque may have damaged the castle nut and compromised the integrity of the connection. If the drag link separated from the pitman arm, the driver would loose directional control of the vehicle which could result in a vehicle crash causing injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace and properly torque the castle nuts on all suspect vehicles.

On certain motorhomes equipped with Workhorse Custom Chassis, the engine fuel rail pulse damper retainer clip may fracture, resulting in inadequate retention of the damper. If the damper comes loose, a fuel leak may result in the underhood area which may result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the engine fuel rail pulse damper retainer clip.

Certain motorhomes fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 101 and 105. Incorrect software programmed into the instrument panel cluster may not allow activation of certain driver warning indicators. As a result, the instrument cluster may fail to illuminate the warning lamps indicating brake system failure. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the instrument panel cluster.

On certain vehicles equipped with Workhorse Custom Chassis, an incorrect steering intermediate shaft may have been installed. The incorrect part has a finer pitch spline. Use of the incorrect part may cause the spline not to match correctly with the steering gear input shaft. This could cause the spline to strip if the steering wheel is turned with a significant amount of force. This failure is likely only to occur when the vehicle is stopped or during tight turning manoeuvres at very low speeds. This condition may result in a loss of steering control. Correction: Dealers will replace the shaft.

On certain motorhomes, a cabinet panel designed to isolate the furnace return air was omitted during vehicle assembly. If the furnace is operated at the same time as the stove and the cabinet panel is missing, the stove flame may go out and the propane gas will continue to flow, which has the potential to ignite resulting in personal injury and/or vehicle and property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect the cabinet assembly and, if missing, will install a panel.

On certain motorhomes, the electric entrance step control unit may develop a short which could ignite its plastic case. If this were to happen, personal injury and/or vehicle and property damage could result. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the step control unit.

On certain motorhomes equipped with the optional galley upgrade package, knives stored in the galley knife holder may interfere with the propane gas line to the stove. The knives could damage the line allowing propane gas to escape, which has the potential to ignite, resulting in personal injury and/or vehicle and property damage. Correction: Dealers will re-route the propane gas line and install a knife shield.
