On certain motorhomes, the hydraulic lines for the levelling system may be routed too close to the exhaust system. This could cause them to overheat and melt. If this happens, hydraulic oil could leak onto the exhaust system. Additionally, a heat shield was not installed over the exhaust system.
An oil leak onto a hot exhaust system could cause a fire.
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the hydraulic lines for the levelling system. The lines will be rerouted as necessary and a heat shield will be installed.
On certain motorhomes, the dash blower motor does not have proper fuse protection. As a result, an electrical overload or short circuit could cause the wiring to overheat.
Wiring that overheats could create a risk of a fire.
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to install a fuse for the dash blower. A 25 ampere fuse will be installed in position 23 in the power distribution box. Dealers will also install a label in the fuse box noting "Fuse Position 23 Max. 25 A".
On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain motorhomes, wiring in the driver and passenger seat may not be adequately protected and cou lbe pinched while the seat position is adjusted. This could cause an electrical short circuit, which could increase the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will re-route wiring and install additional circuit protection.

On certain travel trailers and motorhomes equipped with Frigidaire KG series microwaves, a defect in the microwave oven keypad could cause the oven to activate without pressing any keys. This could result in excessive heat, smoke or possibly a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace affected keypads. In the interim, consumers should not store anything in the microwave.
