On certain motorhomes, the hydraulic lines for the levelling system may be routed too close to the exhaust system. This could cause them to overheat and melt. If this happens, hydraulic oil could leak onto the exhaust system. Additionally, a heat shield was not installed over the exhaust system.
An oil leak onto a hot exhaust system could cause a fire.
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the hydraulic lines for the levelling system. The lines will be rerouted as necessary and a heat shield will be installed.
On certain motorhomes, the dash blower motor does not have proper fuse protection. As a result, an electrical overload or short circuit could cause the wiring to overheat.
Wiring that overheats could create a risk of a fire.
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to install a fuse for the dash blower. A 25 ampere fuse will be installed in position 23 in the power distribution box. Dealers will also install a label in the fuse box noting "Fuse Position 23 Max. 25 A".
On certain motorhomes, the driver and front passenger seat base nuts could loosen over time due to the seat(s) swivelling. This could cause the seat(s) to detach from the seat base, which if the vehicle were in motion, could result in the operator potentially losing control of the motorhome, which could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a jam nut to the top of the seat base nut on each affected seat and ensure they are properly torqued.
A failure of this component (seats and restraints) may increase the risk of a crash or injury.
Authorized dealerships will inspect the vehicle and complete all necessary repairs free of charge (parts and labor).
