On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain fifth wheel trailers, the spare tire carriers may break or crack after time causing the tire to fall off. If the tire carrier fails and the tire comes loose, it may result in property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: A new spare tire carrier will be supplied by Keystone.

On certain fifth wheel trailers, the Federal Identification Label and the Tire & Loading Information Label do not contain correct Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR), tire size and inflation pressure values. The labels indicates a GAWR capacity of 6,000 lbs but instead should read 5,080 lbs. They also indicate a tire size and maximum inflation pressure of 235/80R16E at 80 psi, but should read 225/75R15D at 65 psi. Loading the vehicle beyond the actual GAWR could result in poor vehicle handling characteristics, increasing the risk of a crash. Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles along with instructions for proper installation.
