On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain fifth wheel and travel trailers equipped with a Dometic Corporation refrigerator, a fatigue crack can develop in the boiler tube. This could allow the release of pressurized coolant solution into an area where an ignition source is present, which could result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the refrigerator's boiler tube assembly.

On certain vehicles equipped with a gasoline generator, if the battery in the Carbon Monoxide (CO) detector goes dead or is removed, the detector will not function and therefore cannot warn occupants if CO levels reach a harmful level. Correction: Dealers will install a hard wired 12 volt CO detector in the vehicle. This will ensure the CO detector will have voltage supplied for proper operation when the generator is running.
