On certain motorhomes, the heat shield installed behind the refrigerator may be mounted too low. As a result, when the refrigerator is on, the wood frame behind it could overheat and be charred by exhaust.

Alternatively, you can take your motorhome to a dealer or RV service center to have the heat shield installed. To reduce the safety risk, Triple E recommends that you should turn off the propane until the recall repairs have been completed.
On certain motorhomes, the generator wiring harness could be damaged by contact with the generator fan. If this happens, the wire could short circuit and the remote shutoff switch for the generator inside the motorhome may not work. Note: If the remote shutoff switch does not work, you can turn off the generator by using the switch that is located on the generator.
A short circuit could create a fire risk.

On certain motorhomes, there was no heat shield installed under the cabinets that are mounted above the interior cooktop. As a result, when the cooktop is used, the cabinets could overheat.

On certain motorhomes, the wiring harness for the rear lights may rub on the fresh water tank bracket. This could damage the wiring harness and cause the tail lights not to work.
Brake lights or turn signals that do not work properly could make the vehicle less visible. They could also cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Triple E will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to install a repair kit that will prevent the wiring harness from rubbing on the fresh water tank bracket.
On certain motorhomes, the latch for the utility compartment door could rotate to the locked position when the motorhome moves or sways. If this happens, you will not be able to open the utility compartment. As a result, the shut off valve for the propane system would not be accessible.
If there is a propane leak and you are unable to access the propane shut off valve, there could be an increased risk of a fire or explosion.

On certain motorhomes, the propane gas line connecting to the manifold where the propane appliances are connected could be kinked or twisted. This could cause the line to split and result in a propane gas leak. In addition, a rubber propane hose may also be kinked or twisted. This could cause the propane appliances not to function properly.
A propane gas leak could create the risk of an explosion or a fire.
Triple E RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect the propane gas supply lines. Any twisted or kinked lines or hoses will be repositioned or replaced, as required.
On certain motorhomes, the propane gas line for the water heater was not properly positioned. If the motorhome hits a large bump or pothole, the rear tire could hit the propane line and cause it to leak.
A propane gas leak could create the risk of fire.
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect the propane line and install a metal shield in the wheel well to protect it.
