CRACKED WASHERS, WHILE COMPRESSED, DO NOT PRESENT AN IMMEDIATE PROBLEM TO STEERING GEARBOX INTEGRITY. HOWEVER, IN THE EVENT OF MOUNTING BOLT CLAMP LOAD LOSS, STEERING GEARBOX LOOSENESS COULD ALLOW BROKEN PIECES OF THE WASHERS TO FALL OUT. THIS COULD CAUSE ERRATIC STEERING AND ULTIMATELY RESULT IN STEERING GEARBOX MOUNTING ASSEMBLY FAILURE AND POSSIBLE LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL. CORRECTION: STEERING GEARBOX MOUNTING BRACKET FASTENERS WILL BE REPLACED.
