On certain buses, the wrong glass may have been installed on the lower front entry door panel. As a result, the glass may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations.
An incorrect window glass could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash.
Motor Coach Industries (MCI) will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to replace the lower glass panel. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the lower glass panel replaced at an authorized MCI service center.
On certain vehicles equipped with a driveshaft with a compressed length of 30 inches or less, with a steerable trailing axle that changes the axle caster when the vehicle is in reverse caster, and that lack electronic stability control, the driveshaft could decouple from the transmission due to a universal joint failure. If hard braking is applied, resulting in the drive axle brakes locking up, the potential exists for the driveshaft to escape its containment. This could result in a loss of steering control and ultimately result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will add a secondary drive shaft hoop.

ALSO, CORROSION OF THE AUXILIARY HEATER HARNESS CONNECTIONS MAY OCCUR. EITHER OR BOTH OF THESE CONDITIONS CAN RESULT IN THE RISK OF AN ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRE IN THE VICINITY OF THE HEATER. CORRECTION: LAVATORY EXHAUST HOSES WILL BE RELOCATED AND WIRING HARNESS AND CONNECTIONS WILL BE INSPECTED FOR CHAFING AND CORROSION AND CORRECTED IF NECESSARY. ALL HEATER FUEL HOSES WILL BE REPLACED.
