On certain motorhomes equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain motorhomes equipped with a Busman Power Distribution System, a loose electrical connection inside the Dual Vehicle Electrical Center (DVEC) may cause an electrical power loss to major chassis operating systems (engine, transmission, starting, cooling, lighting, ABS), causing the vehicle to shutdown and/or prevent powering up. This could result in a crash, causing personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the DVEC module.

On certain motorhomes equipped with a Cummins ISL CM850 engine, the connecting rod contains a machining defect in the wrist pin bushing of the rod that could cause a seizure of the piston pin. If allowed to progress, this can lead to engine failure with the possibility of the rod rupturing the block cavity, sending oil and debris onto the roadway and causing a vehicle crash. Correction: Dealers will recalibrate the engine control module and enhance the engine protection system, enabling it to provide early detection of the failure mode in order to avoid more serious engine damage and resultant safety hazard.

On certain motorhomes, the Busman power distribution center (PDC) was installed on the floor of its compartment. Water infiltration could cause an electrical short, spontaneous engine start or a vehicle fire. Correction: Dealers will relocate the PDC to the side of the compartment.
