Owners are advised to stop riding their ATV's and to disconnect the battery cables until repairs have been completed. Correction: Dealers will replace the ECM. Note: This recall is superseded by recall 2008031.

On certain ATV's, incorrect routing of the throttle cable may cause the cable to bind in the chassis. If the cable is bound and the handlebars are turned either full right or full left, it may cause the throttle to open and allow the ATV to accelerate. Unexpected acceleration could cause the operator to lose control of the vehicle and crash, possibly resulting in severe injury or death. Correction: Dealers will re-route the throttle cable.

On certain ATV's, the fuel line leading from the fuel filter outlet to the fuel rail assembly may rub against the chassis. If the fuel line becomes damaged, it could cause a fuel leak which may create a fire hazard, resulting in severe injury or death. Correction: Dealers will re-position the fuel line.
