A MISFIRING ENGINE COULD OVERHEAT THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER CAUSING MATERIALS IN THE VICINITY OF THE CONVERTER, INCLUDING THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID LINES TO IGNITE RESULTING IN AN UNDERBODY FIRE. CORRECTION: 1) REPLACE THE HEATSHIEL WITH A LARGER IMPROVED HEATSHIELD. 2) INSTALL A HEAT RESISTANT SLEEVE ON ATF LINES WHERE NECESSARY. 3) REPLACE PLASTIC ATF LINE MOUNTING BRACKET IN PROXIMITY TO THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WITH A METAL MOUNTING BRACKET.
