On certain vehicles, the compliance label may be missing information in French. The words listed on the label for "Tires", "Rims", "Front" and "Rear" appear in English only, when they should be listed as "Tires/Pneus", "Rims/Jantes", "Front/Avant" and "Rear/Arriere". Canadian regulations require this information to be listed on the label in both English and French.

On certain vehicles, the front axle shafts may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the axle shaft(s) could break and cause a loss of power to the wheels. Additionally, if the vehicle is parked and the parking brake isn't applied, the vehicle could roll away.
A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. A parked vehicle that rolls away could also create the risk of an injury or a crash.
Subaru will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the front axle shafts and, if necessary, replace them.
On certain vehicles, the instrument panel wiring harness could become damaged by contact with the steering beam bracket. If this happens, the wiring harness could short circuit and cause a sudden loss of engine power.
A loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.
Subaru will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and secure the instrument panel wiring harness. If damage is found, the wiring harness will be repaired or replaced as necessary.
