On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. Certain vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 120 - Tire Selection and Rims. The vehicle certification label incorrectly lists tire load range "D", but instead should read load range "E". As a result, the vehicle may inadvertently be fitted with incorrect replacement tires. Overloaded tires may lead to poor vehicle handling characteristics, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the labels.

On certain buses, the main body power cables were routed in the area of an unprotected edge on the passenger's side inner-fender. Under certain conditions a power cable may contact the sharp edge. If undetected, continued contact could wear through the power cable's insulation potentially resulting in a short circuit. A short circuited power cable could result in a vehicle fire and injury to vehicle occupants. Correction: Dealers will inspect the cable for chafe damage and, if necessary, install a fender clip.
