On certain motorhomes, the propane hoses may be incorrectly routed through the rear suspension leaf springs. As a result, the hoses could be damaged by contact with suspension parts and cause a propane leak. Note: This is an expansion of Thor Motor Coach recall RC0000242 (Transport Canada Recall No. 2021-601).
A propane leak could result in an explosion or fire.
Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to re-route and secure the propane hose away from the rear suspension, as necessary.
On certain motorhomes, the vehicle control system software may be defective. The software may allow various components in the motorhome to operate at random and without warning. This could result in sudden movement of the slide-out room(s).
If a slide-out room moves suddenly and without warning, it could create a risk of injury.
