On certain motorhomes equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain motorhomes, the seat belt assemblies fail to meet the strength requirements of CMVSS 209. In the event of a crash, the buckle could release leaving the seat occupant un-restrained, possibly resulting in serious injury or death. Correction: AM-Safe Commercial Products will replace the seat belt buckles.

On certain motorhomes containing a 50 Amp transfer switch built by Intellitec, the material used for the wire lugs was changed from nickel plated to copper lugs. The copper lugs are softer than the nickel plated and do not retain the torque of the screw that clamps the wire connector. When the torque is relaxed, the lugs can become loose, resulting in excessive heat within the connected wire that could result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the changeover box.
