On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain motorhomes, the transverse beam weld on the suspension may be improperly located therefore allowing the transverse beam to separate from suspension casting. If the welds fail, vehicle stability could be affected resulting in a loss of vehicle control which could lead to a crash and cause personal injuries or death. In addition, the transverse beam could drop to the ground causing sparks and create a fire hazard. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the transverse beam assembly.

On certain motorhomes, incorrect fasteners may have been used to attached the brake caliper to the brake anchor plate during vehicle assembly. The incorrect fasteners may not provide adequate clamping force, potentially resulting in reduced brake effectiveness. Extended stopping distances may result in a vehicle crash causing injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if incorrect bolts are found, will check for possible additional damage, and repair as required.

On certain vehicles, the fasteners that attach the steering arm or tie rod arm to the spindle may have been over or under tightened during assembly process. Incorrectly torqued steering arm fasteners may fatigue and fracture, possibly causing a crash without warning. Correction: Dealers will inspect fasteners and apply correct tightening torque.
