Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain fifth wheel trailers, the plug-in remote control receiver used to operate the Dimplex electric fireplace or electric stove may overheat. This could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Owners are advised to contact Dimplex at 1-888-346-7539 for information regarding unit replacement. In the meantime, the remote control receiver should be unplugged from the electrical outlet to prevent the risk of fire.

On certain fifth wheel and travel trailers equipped with the Jack & Jill bed option, when the lower bunk mattress is flipped up to access the storage compartment, the mattress may come in contact with the bare bulb on the interior light if the lens cover is displaced. If the light is left in the ON position, this could create smoke, smouldering and a risk of fire. Correction: Dealers will relocate the light assembly.

On certain Topaz Luxury Edition fifth wheel and travel trailers, the rubber propane line used to fuel the fridge may be stretched to the limit when moving the slideout to the full out position. This could cause the rubber line to break or leak at the connections causing propane gases to exhaust and thus creating a fire hazard. Correction: Dealers will relocate the clamps used to secure the rubber propane line.
