On certain buses, the C1 drive hub in the transmission may fail. If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the drive wheels when the bus comes to a stop. This can disable the bus and make it unable to move under its own power. Note: This recall only affects certain buses built with an Allison B500 transmission.
A bus that is disabled could create the need for a transfer of passengers in an uncontrolled environment, which may create a risk of injury.

On vehicles equipped with a fire suppression system that includes a Kidde KDS-25 fire extinguisher, there may be a problem with the electric actuator on the fire extinguisher. This could cause the fire extinguisher not to discharge when it is activated.
In a fire, an extinguisher that does not work could increase the risk of injury and/or property damage.
