Canadian regulations require a seat belt reminder sound when a driver isn't wearing their seat belt. Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with the Premium Sound option.

To reduce the safety risk, Volvo advises that you should limit the vehicle's maximum state of charge to no more than 70% until the recall repairs have been completed.
