On certain motorhomes, the hood mounting brackets may not have been properly attached. As a result, the bracket(s) could loosen and detach from the motorhome while driving.

On certain motorhomes, the front turn signal lights may be too small. As a result, the turn signals could be difficult to see, and the motorhomes may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations.
Turn signals that are difficult to see could cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to replace the front turn signal lights.
Certain motorhomes built on a Freightliner chassis could have a problem with the rear-mounted Power Distribution Module (PDM). This could cause the tail lights not to work properly. Note: This recall replaces FL-856 (Transport Canada recall 2020-323). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.
Brake lights or turn signals that do not work could cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash.

On certain motorhomes, the tire valve stem extensions for the inner wheels may get damaged by contact with the outer wheels. If this happens, the inner tire could lose air pressure. This could overload the outer tire and cause it to fail. Note: This recall replaces FL-861 (Transport Canada recall 2020-428). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.
A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
Winnebago will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) authorized service facility to remove the inner valve stem extensions.
On certain motorhomes built on a Freightliner chassis, the driver may not be able to dim the lights on the instrument panel to a low level. As a result, light from the instrument panel could cause glare while driving at night. Canadian regulations require that the instrument panel lights can be dimmed to a lower level.
Glare from bright instrument panel lights could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash.

Certain motorhomes built on a Freightliner chassis could have a problem with the rear-mounted Power Distribution Module (PDM). This could cause the tail lights not to work properly. Note: This is an expansion of recall 2019-379. Vehicles that had an inspection, but did not have the PDM replaced under the previous recall, require a second repair under this recall.

Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their motorhome to a DTNA authorized service facility to inspect and repair the PDM as necessary.
The exterior storage compartment doors may open while driving. This could allow stowed items to fall out of the vehicle.
A storage compartment door that opens while driving could swing into another road user’s lane. Additionally, items that fall from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others. Both of these situations could increase the risk of a crash.
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their motorhome to a dealer to replace the exterior storage compartment door latches. The dealer will also ensure that the catches/latches are properly adjusted.
