On certain motorhomes, the front turn signal lights may be too small. As a result, the turn signals could be difficult to see, and the motorhomes may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations.
Turn signals that are difficult to see could cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to replace the front turn signal lights.
Certain motorhomes built on a Freightliner chassis could have a problem with the rear-mounted Power Distribution Module (PDM). This could cause the tail lights not to work properly. Note: This recall replaces FL-856 (Transport Canada recall 2020-323). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.
Brake lights or turn signals that do not work could cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash.

On certain motorhomes, the tire valve stem extensions for the inner wheels may get damaged by contact with the outer wheels. If this happens, the inner tire could lose air pressure. This could overload the outer tire and cause it to fail. Note: This recall replaces FL-861 (Transport Canada recall 2020-428). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.
A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
Winnebago will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) authorized service facility to remove the inner valve stem extensions.
On certain motorhomes, the fuel rail assembly could develop a leak. Note: This recall only affects motorhomes equipped with a Cummins L9 or ISX12 diesel engine.
A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.
Winnebago will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Cummins authorized service center to inspect the fuel rail. If damage is found, the fuel rail and fuel lines will be replaced. If no damage is found, the fuel rail will be reassembled with new crush washers using a special tool.
On certain motorhomes built on a Freightliner chassis, the driver may not be able to dim the lights on the instrument panel to a low level. As a result, light from the instrument panel could cause glare while driving at night. Canadian regulations require that the instrument panel lights can be dimmed to a lower level.
Glare from bright instrument panel lights could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash.

Certain motorhomes built on a Freightliner XBS chassis could have a problem with the rear-mounted Power Distribution Module (PDM). This could cause the tail lights not to work properly.

On certain motorhomes equipped with air disc brakes, the brake caliper mounting bolts may not be properly tightened. This could cause the caliper bolts to loosen and result in reduced brake effectiveness.
Reduced brake effectiveness could cause an increase in stopping distance and create the risk of a crash.
Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their motorhome to a DTNA authorized service facility to inspect and replace the brake caliper bolts as necessary.
On certain motorhomes equipped with V-Ride rear suspension, the mounting bolts for the rear axle may not be properly tightened. This could cause the track bar, which maintains the position of the rear axle, to detach.
A track bar that detaches could affect vehicle handling and stability, increasing the risk of a crash.
Daimler Trucks of North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their motorhome to an authorized DTNA Service Facility to ensure the rear axle mounting bolts are properly tightened.
On certain motorhomes, the auxiliary solar charging port may have been installed without proper circuit protection (a fuse). If solar panels are connected through the solar charging port and they exceed the amperage capacity of the circuit, there may be an increased risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install an inline fuse to the auxiliary solar charging port circuit.
A failure of this component (electrical) may increase the risk of a crash or injury.
Authorized dealerships will inspect the vehicle and complete all necessary repairs free of charge (parts and labor).
