Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, secure the trim on the rear roof cap.
On certain motorhomes, the entry door window glass may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the glass could loosen and detach from the window frame.
A glass panel that detaches from the vehicle could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
To reduce the safety risk, Winnebago recommends that you inspect the entry door window glass before each trip. Winnebago will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
On certain motorhomes, the wiring harness for the front seats may have been routed incorrectly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged and cause the airbags not to work properly in a crash. Note: This problem would cause an airbag system warning message to display on the instrument panel.
An airbag that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, re-route the seat wiring harness. If damage is found, the wiring harness will be repaired or replaced, as necessary.
On certain motorhomes, the retractable awning could extend on its own while driving. Note: This recall replaces recall 169 (Transport Canada recall number 2022-549). Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this second repair.
An awning that extends while driving could create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.
Winnebago will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. Winnebago recommends that you should inspect the awning to ensure it's in the fully retracted position before driving. You should also check it periodically throughout your trip.
On certain motorhomes, the wrong trailer hitch label was installed. This could lead you to overload the motorhome, which could cause poor handling or a tire failure.
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
Winnebago will mail a new trailer hitch label to each owner. If you would like help to install it, you can contact a Winnebago dealer to have it installed free of charge.
On certain motorhomes, the propane (LP) line may not be attached properly near the left rear wheel well. As a result, the line could move and be damaged by contact with the tire. This could create a propane leak.
A propane leak can create the risk of a fire.
Winnebago will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to add additional supports to attach the propane line. The dealer will also inspect the propane line for damage and replace it, if necessary.
