On certain RV trailers, the 120 V electrical outlet near the kitchen sink doesn't have ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protection.
An electrical outlet that doesn't have ground-fault protection could create a risk of shock or electrocution.
Winnebago will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to replace the non-GFCI outlet with one that has ground-fault protection.
On certain RV trailers, the circuit board for the LED light rings on the cooktop knobs could fail. As a result, the wiring and/or LED lights could overheat and melt. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2024-050. Trailers that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair. This recall only affects RV trailers equipped with certain Suburban cooktops.
Wiring and/or lights that overheat and melt can create the risk of a fire.
Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to disable or remove the LED light rings. To reduce the safety risk, Winnebago recommends that you should disconnect the power for your trailer when it's not used.
On a small number of RV trailers, the cargo-carrying capacity label lists the wrong cargo-carrying capacity. This could lead you to overload the trailer, which could cause poor handling or a tire failure.
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash.
Winnebago will mail a new cargo-carrying capacity label to each owner. If you'd like help to install the label, you can contact a Winnebago dealer to have it installed free of charge.
On certain RV trailers, the fabric for the patio awning may not be properly attached. As a result, the awning could detach and fall from the trailer.
An awning that falls from the trailer could create a risk of injury. An awning that falls from a moving vehicle could create road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
Winnebago will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect the fabric roll on the awning. It will be repaired or replaced, as necessary.
On certain RV trailers, the quick disconnect fittings for the propane (LP) gas system may be defective. As a result, the fittings could crack and leak propane.
A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion.
Winnebago will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to inspect the quick disconnect fittings on the propane system. The quick disconnect fitting(s) will be replaced, if required. The dealer will also perform a leak test.
