This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you access our vehicle safety search engine and VIN lookup tools.

2. Zero-Logging VIN Privacy Architecture

When you enter a 17-character Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) into our decoder tool:

• The decoding algorithm executes client-side within your browser or securely requests public vehicle attributes via standard encrypted HTTPS protocols.
• We do NOT store, log, or track your VIN in connection with your IP address, name, or browsing habits.
• We do not create consumer driver profiles or sell search logs to insurance companies, data brokers, or advertising networks.

3. Information We Collect Automatically

Like standard web services, our servers log aggregated, non-personally identifiable technical telemetry to maintain server health and security. This may include your browser user-agent, operating system, pages visited, and referring URL. We use this telemetry exclusively to optimize page load speeds and prevent denial-of-service attacks.

4. Third-Party Links & Open Data Providers

Our portal contains outbound links to external government agencies (Transport Canada, Natural Resources Canada) and automotive manufacturers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external third-party domains.
