On certain travel trailers, the interior cooktop burner could be affected by the operation of the furnace. This could potentially cause the burner flame to invert.
An inverted burner flame could create the risk of a burn injury or cause a fire.
Airstream will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to install a panel and seal any gaps that could allow return air from the furnace to cause an inverted flame on the cooktop. To minimize the safety risk, Airstream recommends that the furnace and the range cook top should not be used at the same time before the recall repairs have been completed.
On certain travel trailers, a defect in the Demco ball coupler could allow it to separate from the hitch ball while being towed. If this happens, the trailer could disconnect from the tow vehicle.

Airstream will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to add shims on the backside of the ball coupler to increase clamping force on the tow ball.
