The parking brake may not engage, as the parking brake cable may dislodged from the foot pedal assembly. This could result in unintended vehicle movement if the vehicle's transmission is not in the PARK gear position, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will install a cable retention clip and a cable-end return spring to prevent the parking brake cable from disengaging from pedal and ensure it is properly adjusted.

When this occurs, the air gauges would remain zeroed and would not display the actual system air pressure correctly, contrary to the requirements of the standard. Correction: Dealers will perform a software update to rectify the issue.
