Issue Description

On certain 320I vehicles, crack in the exhaust system between the exhaust pipe and the catalytic converter could result in exhaust emissions which do not comply with CMVSS 1103.

A failure of this component (engine) may increase the risk of a crash or injury.

Corrective Action & Repair

Authorized dealerships will inspect the vehicle and complete all necessary repairs free of charge (parts and labor).
