The secondary throttle lever of the 4350-4v carburetor may experience a "hang-up" condition due to a die misalignment during the die-casting of the throttle body. The secondary throttle plates may remain open after a wide-open throttle application causing the vehicle to accelerate to high speed. The vehicle can be stopped by shifting into neutral and braking or by turning the ignition switch off.
