Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify the owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a DTNA authorized service facility to inspect and tighten the axle clamp fasteners. The axle clamp castings will be replaced, as necessary.
On certain trucks, the tie rod arm and steering arm bolts may be defective and could break. If this happens, there could be a loss of steering control. Note: This recall only affects trucks built with a Detroit front axle.
