As a result, power steering fluid could leak and cause a loss of power steering and power brake assist. Note: Vehicles that were inspected under Transport Canada recall no. 2022-618 also require this repair.

On certain G5 electric school buses built on a Ford chassis, a problem with the vehicle control software could cause overheating in the high-voltage battery pack and electrical arcing (sparks) in the charging circuit. Note: This recall only affects buses equipped with Ecotuned Technologies MK3 kit with software version 1139 or lower.
Overheating of the high-voltage battery and electrical arcing can create the risk of fire.

Certain school buses do not meet the joint strength requirements of the Canadian regulations. The inside panels under the windows may not have been attached correctly. As a result, the panels could separate in a crash.
