Specifically, the identifications for the HVAC fan control, the position side marker light control, the master lighting switch control and the turn signal control may be missing or mislabeled. Canadian regulations require the use of certain symbols and words for controls. This can help to avoid driver confusion.

Certain vehicles may have been built with an incorrectly sized alternator cable. This could potentially result in the cable overheating, which may increase the risk of a vehicle fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the alternator cable.
