On certain buses, should the switch on the remote throttle control panel (located in the engine compartment) not be returned to the "OFF" or "FRONT" position by a servicing technicien, and the engine RPM be set above idle, the bus can still start with the engine at idle, but once the transmission gear is selected and the brake pedal is depressed, the engine could change to a high RPM and the bus could accelerated at a higher rate than anticipated. This could result in a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Daimler Bus will supply owners with instructions detailing modification to be applied to the throttle control switch wiring harness.

On certain buses equipped with Lift-U wheelchair lift systems, the outboard ramp barrier of the platform lift could inadvertently fold towards a lift occupant and pinch their feet. This could cause personal injury including a cut and/or twisted foot. Correction: Dealers will replace the printed circuit board inside the wheelchair lift control box.

On certain vehicles, the routing of the alternator cable may cause the cable to rub against engine components. If not detected during regular maintenance inspections the insulation can rub to a point of exposing the electrified cable which could create an arc that could result in a fire. Correction: A notice will sent to the affected customers to inspect for proper routing, correct the proper routing and replace any components showing signs of wear.
