On certain vehicles equipped with wheelchair barriers, in the event of a frontal crash at more than 20 mph, the wheelchair barrier attaching bolts which are tapped into the floor structure could strip, allowing movement of the wheelchair barrier. This could result in injuries, or death of the disabled person or other passengers. Correction: Wheelchair barrier mounting bolts with the required nuts and washers will be installed on affected vehicles.

On certain vehicles, the engine starter power cables could chafe against the transmission and short to ground through the transmission components, including the engine cooler line. The high current in the starter cable could damage adjacent transmission cooler lines and cause a fluid leak. The combination of leaking transmission fluid and starter cable electrical discharge could start a fire fueled by the leaking fluid. Correction: vehicles will be inspected and starter cable will be rerouted if necessary.

THE SOLENOID VALVES WHICH ARE INTENDED TO ISOLATE THE CNG (COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS) TANKS FROM THE REST OF THE FUEL SYSTEM IN THE EVENT OF ENGINE SHUT DOWN, FIRE OR IGNITION SHUT OFF, MAY FAIL DUE TO CRACKING OR DETERIORATION OF THE SOLENOID PLUNGER. SOLENOID FAILURE COULD ALLOW CNG TO FLOW WHEN NOT REQUIRED. IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR FIRE AND/OR EXPLOSION. CORRECTION: SOLENOID VALVES WILL BE REPLACED WITH IMPROVED VERSIONS.
